Baribal Barney underwent extensive abdominal surgery. We went through the gearbox and transfer case, installed an increased power pump in the cooling system and a stronger oil pump in the engine. We finished all the work in the living compartment: we installed solar panels, connected all the electrics according to a permanent circuit, made lighting, put buttons and sockets on the closet, hung nets for the shmurdyak. All that remains is to plug in a retractable kitchen module, do a professional advertising shoot, and that’s it, you can put it up for sale and collect orders for the production of new Baribals.

There are already thoughts on what to change in the design. We want to remove the rear window in the cabin, and instead make a sealed connection with the accordion-type sleeping compartment, like in a tram. And there is also a desire to make an external “hump” at the stern in which to place a water heater, planar and water pump. In this case, removing and installing the sleeping compartment on the cargo platform will be even easier.
