Panda Mia is finishing up the furniture, and will soon move on to welding and electrical work. The first test drive is scheduled for mid-October.
Panda has some non-standard solutions that we have to try out:
- In one easy movement, the toilet from the bathroom rolls along the guides under the bed so that you can take a shower without being in a cramped space. You can take it outside for cleaning from the bathroom and from under the bed.
- The bathroom door is made of an accordion of two halves, so that when open it does not take up almost any space.
- There is no sink in the bathroom. Let's see how it will be without her.
- The upper berths recline, like on a train.
- The layout of the original chassis with an entrance door in the cabin gives us more free space in the living compartment, but forces one of the seats to be retractable.
Overall, it turns out beautifully: real paneled doors, artificially aged wood, competent zoning.
Although the van is small, it was VERY spacious inside. It looks like you can play badminton. And there's plenty of storage space, especially under the double bed in the rear.
